Speedycourse.com.ph an Online Course Finder

Gone are the days that looking for services is through scanning the yellow pages. I can just imagine how time consuming it was. I’m glad the internet was introduced and nowadays, it gives convenience especially when we try to find workshops, places, reviews and whatnot. You’ll just type in Google keywords and you will be prompted with a lists of what might help your search.

But isn’t it more convenient for us that in this day and age, the internet offers specific solutions to what we need? One of these are websites—such as www.speedycourse.com.ph. It is an online course finder for short courses, training, seminars, workshops, and other learning events. Isn’t it a great news?

Just months ago, I thought of launching this website (www.morenamom.com) to polish my writing skills and enter the world of blogging officially. To prepare, I searched for workshops on basic photography and creative writing. I remember asking my friends if they know one. I even asked some co-moms in the Mommy Groups that I was in on Facebook. Crowdsourcing is a hassle and too much time consuming (for me). Of course, everyone is busy juggling their thing and I hate that I need to bother them and ask. What I didn’t like most about it was I am anxiously waiting for replies.

Last week, I went to a makeup workshop from SpeedyCourse. Who doesn’t love learning sessions? And most of all the girl in me loves to learn about makeup! You see I never had a formal workshop on applying make-ups. I solely depend on watching Youtube for makeup tutorials and my DIY ideas. However, I love to attend a classroom type session because I can throw in questions that will come up in my head during the workshop. Plus, I could ask the makeup artist (MUA) to check my kit just to know what she can suggest or is there anything missing in there.

SpeedyCourse will have another Basic Makeup Workshop on November 14 at the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Showroom in BGC, Taguig. Workshop fee is still Php 500 (inclusive of snacks and drinks). For registration, here is the link.

Upon arriving at the venue, I immediately fell inlove with the place they picked. I love the theme of the The Bunny Baker Cake Studio, perfect for the workshop they hosted that afternoon. Layed back.

Overall, I enjoyed that Basic Day to Night Makeup Workshop. It was facilitated by Ms. Gail Hipolito-Sarion of Sarion Films, a very cool and fun yet classy MUA. First, she demoed practical makeup tips and tricks. She also walked us through the different makeup products, tools and the basics of appropriate day and night makeup. Lastly, she showed the step-by-step of applying it and how to transform day makeup to night makeup. All these can help me be comfortable and confident in applying makeup on my face.

After the demo, she asked us to bring out our makeup kit for consultation. Whatever existing products we have, she helped us edit our kit according to what suits us and gave advice on what makeup will work best on our skin tones.
