Shopwise’ The Big Cook-Off

Truth be told, I seldom go grocery shopping at Shopwise. Being a budgetarian, I am intimidated that it one of Rustans Group of Companies. I have this impression that it’s pricey buying there. I just go there whenever I want a less time spent lining up to the counter. Or if I feel like I want quieter place to do my me time.

One thing I noticed was they have brands am not familiar with and that it’s just there I see them. It was only last week when I attended the Shopwise’ Cook-Off event that I got a confirmation about this. They have these quality and imported brands exclusive to Shopwise but 20 to 30% cheaper: Papa Alfredo pasta and sauces, White Hat, SureBuy, Jolly Tots, Sun Harvest and a lot more!

Some of the brands us moms can find when grocery shopping at #Shopwise, brands we cannot see at other local supermarkets as these are exclusive to them. What’s more is that at Shopwise it’s 20 to 30% cheaper on top of discounts!

Fresh produce? It’s delivered daily! Australian cuts? 100% imported, a good quality meat but made affordable! A discount retailing segment through an adapted European-style hypermarket. Now that’s the good life you can afford indeed!

Let’s talk about the Cook-Off. I attended the second leg which was held at Shopwise Cubao branch and witnessed the amazing showdown of cooking skills using world class ingredients from Shopwise. There were the two groups: The Schoolers whom are students from Apicius Culinary School and The Bloggers. Each group has 3 individual contestants, two winners will be declared on each group that will move on to the last leg which will be held at the newly opened Shopwise Circuit.
