A Date with my BFF and our kids at Caffe Bene
Date with my BFF and our kids at Caffe Bene
I live away from my parents since my marriage. We transferred near Ortigas Center, which is my husband’s workplace. It was really nice to live independently when you have a family of your own. I have learned the ropes of Motherhood by myself and I considered it as a blessing. Every once in a while my family visits us from Laguna and that makes me very happy. Because that doesn’t just mean catching up with them, but that also allows me to have a break from all the house chores.
Being a yayaless mother without a house help, I got the hang of juggling things on my own. It was just my husband Paulo, our little guy and me living in our home. During weekdays, when my beloved better half is in the office working, sometimes I’m missing my siblings’ company. I missed watching TV with them or talk about anything over merienda; sharing opinions etcetera etcetera.
Good thing my Kumare (my BFF since 4th grade) lives within the Eastwood area. When Im missing my family, I’d just visit her or sleep over at their place for days–me and my little man. It’s not only a bonding for us but I love how Elijah can play and socialize with her adobale kids. Plus, we’re just steps away from the mall if we wanted to swing by the toy store or whichever in there. Therefore, visiting my best friend is really my toddler hack.
For that afternoon, we decided to grab some snacks at Caffe Bene (tagging the kiddos along, of course). An afternoon for chitchat to relax with our kiddos.
Caffe Bene in Eastwood is located at Eastwood City Walk 2.
Seeing their display case, I noticed that the servings were ideal for sharing. Value for your money! The pricing was quite affordable.
The little guy in the order counter.
We ordered the following:
Choco Banana Bread
Ham & Cheese Sandwich
Caramel Frappe
Vanilla Frappe (2)
Double Strawberry Bene Gelato
My inaanak enjoyed this Strawberry Gelato.
While Elijah, captured on this photo, can’t wait to try the Choco Banana Bread.
I’m satisfied with the taste of our orders. I love my Caramel Frappe, flavorful! Did I mentioned the Choco Banana Bread was topped with almonds?
Nice interior. Of course coffee shops has a common denominator of a homey feel (don’t nag at me please 😀 ), but I fell inlove with their displays in the rack above our head.
For a mom who tags along her child most of the time, it’s the patience of the staffs that I observe first wherever I go.
I would love to visit Caffe Bene again with my husband and I planned for us to sit here.
Our friendship with anyone is a very special gift. It allows us to learn and share about ourselves. Where do you bond with your friends or loved ones?
I also love Caffe Bene, too! Good thing that you brought your kids with you because it really is a good cafe for the family ^_^.
Hi Mona!
Yes, I fell inlove with the taste of their offerings. We’ll definitely visit them again but with my husband the next time.
