Rediscover Excitement. Rediscover Nissan.
Whitespace Manila overflowed with displayed Nissan cars last Monday, October 5th as Nissan Philippines Inc. celebrated their 2nd year anniversary.
Nissan become a household name in the local automotive scene during 80’s and 90’s—the glory days. However, over the years, it slowly took the backseat in the minds of the market because of shifting consumer preferences.
Rediscover the brand we grow up with:
Sylphy
The reborn Nissan Sentra. Equipped with sophisticated designs, various convenient features, and powerful yet efficient powertrain, the Nissan Sylphy is offering more of its class.
Altima
For those executives who appreciate driving pleasure, this is perfect as it makes them to want to drive more and ride less.
X-Trail
The compact SUV that reflects who the driver is. Lifestyle without limits.
Navara
This NP300 Navara, the 12th generation of Nissan’s monumental pickups, is the only pickup that is powerful, comfortable and innovative.
Urvan
Indeed this is designed for entrepreneurs, public transport and family use. We used to have an Urvan which really catered best for our long drives with family and great space for our luggage.
Patrol
Nissan Patrol Royale assures a premium off-road experience that doesn’t compromise on aesthetics.
During the event I fell inlove with this Patrol immediately with its macho look. But when NISSAN JUKE was introduced, wow. Just wow. A compact crossover which was built to thrill.
The new Nissan Juke combines boldness and excitement, becoming the brand’s answer to the growing local compact crossover segment. It showcases the ability to deftly take on the challenges of everyday driving in the Philippines.
BOLD DESIGN
It is designed to project an energetic agility, bringing together toughness of an SUV and dynamism of a compact sports car into one vehicle through Nissan’s ROBOTIOC design concept. Under this Nissan takes the mechanical (ROBO) and combines it with the living body (BIO) to produce a masculine and agile exterior, and an interior that mechanical precision with dynamic movement. Its unique crossover styling gives it a bold, eye-catching look on the road.
ICONIC TECH
The new Nissan Juke also features the new intelligent control display called the Integrated Control System (I-CON). This versatile, multi-colored system allows drivers to change the drive and climate modes at a touch.
In Drive mode, the I-CON system offers three different settings – Normal, Sport and Eco. Normal mode combines performance and efficiency, best suited for everyday driving, while Sport mode delivers more power for a more agile and responsive drive. Finally, Eco mode maximizes the vehicle fuel efficiency.
The I-CON also toggles the controls in Climate mode, with the display panel showing the interior temperature settings and air flow preferences. This allows the driver and passengers to customize the interior atmosphere to suit their individual preferences.
EXCITING DRIVE
In the Philippines, it will be available in the HR16DE 1.6L DOHC gasoline engine variant, coupled with the new generation Xtronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). Under this powertrain combination, the new Nissan Juke will delivers a smooth yet exciting drive supported by engine power of 116PS with 154Nm of torque.
Nissan Juke will be available as 4×2 variant with an SRP of P980,000. It will also come in Solar Yellow, Pearl White and Black Obsidian as Red Alert was the shade in the pictures above. Expected start of sales will be January 2016.
Another great news for Nissan car buyers! NPI is expanding their network on ground and online by introducing the Nissan Parts Online store portal, which will go live by November 3, 2015. So watch out for that! Because I remember when me and my husband was deciding on which brand to buy when we purchase our first car, his first concern was whether the parts of a whichever car brand is easy to find or not; will we have a difficult time finding spare parts or worst be waiting for months for the said part to be shipped to us here in PH.
This portal will be for Nissan customers in the entire country to enjoy purchasing parts, accessories, and merchandise at affordable prices from the comfort of their own homes and enjoy the convenience of free shipping. This service is guaranteed 24hour delivery within Metro Manila.
At the end of the day, “Rediscover Excitement Rediscover Nissan” isn’t just a milestone. It is Nissan’s way of showcasing to the public that it is truly back, and is here to stay.
