I think every mother can relate if I say that motherhood is not easy. Not. Easy. It’s even draining sometimes. Since I become a mom I came to appreciate my parents more especially Mama.
I am a mother to a 32-month old toddler with no helper. I juggle everything at home; cooking, trying to catch up with the mountain of laundry, an everyday routine of picking up scattered toys or puzzle pieces on the floor and the list goes on while trying to keep a smiling face whenever Elijah goes “Mommy, yet’s yeaaad Corduyoy’s foyth o Juyay!” (Mommy, let’s read Corduroy’s 4th of July!). Thankfully, my husband’s understanding and moral support is what keeps me sane.
On that note, every mother deserves at least a treat, right? A break from motherhood.
